Saying good-bye to two special friends

This past 4 weeks have been pretty sad. On January 18, my friend Eileen Moseley passed away. She was 72 years old. She had been suffering from chronic pneumonia and COPD for quite some time. She finally succumbed to the pneumonia about 2:00 a.m. on January 18. She is now in the company of our Heavenly Father, her husband Jay and their son Doug, the two of which preceeded her all too recently.

My friend Marla (Nicholson) Lynch passed away this last Saturday night (February 9). She was 41 years old and had been staging a brave battle against breast cancer for a little more than 3 years. Feel free to check out her story and journal at

She was a beautiful person, and is leaving behind a loving husband, Patrick, and 3 young children: Katie (12), Brodie (5) and Lillie (4).

The comforting thing about her passing is first of all, she is with our Heavenly Father now, and she is no longer suffering in pain and misery.

Rest well my sweet friends. You will be missed and loved always.
