Heart-wrenching
There is a blog that I follow that directed me to another blog with a heart-wrenching story about this 2 year old boy. I thought that the least I could do is post a link to Jaden's story and share it with those of you that read my blog. Click on Jaden's name above to read the story.

One of the replies to the Mountain Dew cupcakes was about Mountain Dew dumplings (thanks Cindy via Kristen's FB page).

Roll each apple wedge in crescent roll dough starting at the smallest end. Pinch to seal and place in the baking dish. Melt butter in a small saucepan and stir in the sugar and cinnamon. Mountain Dew cupcakes anyone?
One of my friends on Facebook mentioned that she had just tried Mountain Dew cupcakes and that they were totally worth the effort. After a request or two for the recipe she posted the link to Cassie's blog How to Eat a Cupcake and the recipe for Mountain Dew cupcakes. I haven't tried them yet, but I plan to. If you try them be sure to post a review.
